Hi - I've seen several posts about connecting 2 routers, but since they were a bit dated, I thought I'd ask about it. I have Fios with an Actiontec MI424-WR router. I need to add an ethernet connection to a second room in the house, but I do not want to run wires from the existing router. I was contemplating a 2nd router and found the threads about a "Moca Bridge". I was wondering if there is an inexpensive option for a 2nd router or any other device that would prevent me from having to run Ethernet wires from room to room. I would assume a 2nd router would also give me better wifi coverage in that part of the house? If the 2nd router is the best option, does anyone have recommendations for which router to purchase? Should it be another Actiontec?
Also wondering if the instructions on this page explaining the process is still valid.
