I made an order by mistake which caused the router rent to be cancelled, and I received the box to return it. I call to let them know of the mistake but they did not fix it because I got my new bill and the rent for the router has been credited for -$10.66.
At the end of the bill says the following:
"You Are Responsible for Returning Verizon FiOS
Equipment
You must return the following undamaged equipment
within 30 days or you will be charged as follows:
• FiOS Quantum Gateway $99.99
Serial # xxxxxxx........"
My questions are:
1.- If I do NOT return the router the nonreturned charge for $99.99 is a one time charge?
2.- Will I own the router once I paid the $99.99 nonreturned charge?
3.- Will the router keep working normally after I get charged?
4.- Will no longer have to pay any rent for the router? (I've read that people get charge for rent even after they got their own router).
Therefore, if the $99.99 charge is correct, if it is a one time payment, if I'd own the router, if the router will keep working and if not further rent for a router has to be paid, then I am happy with the order I submitted by mistake and I want to keep it that way.
Please someone answer my questions.
Thanks!
