I currently have 75/75 internet service and an Actiontec Rev I router. I just noticed Verizon is offering 100/100 for $5/mo more than I'm paying now. I'm tempted to spring for the increase but I have no interest in changing routers. My Actiontec has a fairly involved configuration and it's working OK for me.
Can anyone speak from experience and tell me if I'll be able to place the order without getting the new router?

I'd also be interest in anyone's personal experience using coax from ONT to Actiontec Rev I with 100/100 or higher plan. I'm trying to not open a bag-of-worms by upgrading and although I could run Cat 6 from my ONT to my router, I really would prefer not to.

I tentavely stepped through the order process on the Verizon website and it asked me to schedule a date/time for a Verizon installer to visit. Uhhhh....why do I need an installer to move from 75/75 to 100/100?
