I have closed my FiOS Internet 50/25 and local TV service account in July. I had to come back to my family in Europe pretty rushly for personal reasons so i closed my account when I was already abroad. I asked to ship a box to my roomates to return the equipment and they returned to the local verizon fios store in Providence (as your customer service suggested). Now I have been billed for more that $300 for unreturned equipment! how this is possible? I already had problems last winter because I have been charged for months for a HD box, while I just wanted the local TV box, and now i have to pay more than $300 for a router that has been returned.
