Fios speedmatch - unavailable for my address?

Has anyone else encountered this turn of events related to fios speedmatch?

 

I currently have 75/35, and friends about 15 miles from me have been receiving their speedmatch upgrades to 75/75 after they signed up for My Rewards.

So I signed up a few weeks ago, yet the speedmatch has not hit my account yet. I decided to chat with a customer support rep and was told that only 50/50 and 150/150 is available for speed match at my addresss, and that 75/75 is conveniently skipped.

 

I plugged in an address a few houses down, and sure enough, a new fios customer would get 75/75 for the same that I am paying now!

 

I tried plugging in my address as a new customer moving in, and sure enough, 75/75 is somehow not present as a bundle option for just my address.

 

There is some kind of shenannigans going on. It makes no sense that a new service customer a few houses down can get it, yet my address is somehow excluded. Not only that 50/50 and 150/150 are available at my address , so I know its not an equipment limitation.

 

All I can think of is that this is some kind of error in their system (hopefully), or some kind of terrible business model to make an excuse to not dole out the much hyped "speedmatch" to "our loyal customers". I would hate for my loyalty to be abused like this, especially since I recently re-upped my contract a few months ago and even upgraded to Quantum TV.


I'm going to call during the week to see if I can speak with a manager. I was just curious if anyone else encountered something similar.
