I took Verizon 2 year triple play bundle in Feb'14 through phone. Spoke to an agent "Nicole" - {edited for privacy}. While reading through the contract; I very specifically asked, what happens to the early termination fee incase I move to an area where Verizon services are not available.
The agent told me, in that case the early termination fee would be waived, since its not my fault I m moving and to an area not covered by Verizon.
Today, I called to cancel my service since I am moving to Frisco, TX, an area not covered by Verizon, and the agent tells me I need to pay the early termination fee of $ 150.
She gets her supervisor on the phone "Gayla"; who refuses to even listen to the concern.
The only alternative Gayla gave me was to continue paying for the services till end of the contract or pay the early termination fee.
BEWARE of Verizon... they dont stick to what they commit!!!!
